Russian doctors will exchange experience with colleagues from Bishkek

The international volunteer program "Mission Dobro" with the participation of Russian doctors of the "RZhD-Medicine" network of clinics started in Kyrgyzstan on August 18, 2025.
Six highly qualified doctors of various specializations: urologist, cardiovascular surgeon, cardiologist, obstetrician-gynecologist, nephrologist, traumatologist-orthopedist will work in Bishkek medical and preventive institutions until August 22.

On the first day of the Mission, the Russian doctors were received by the Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Erkin Cheychebaev.

"I am glad to launch this mission," the head of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Health said during his acquaintance with the volunteer doctors. "The heads of our national centers are ready to meet Russian doctors, each in their own specialty. We are very pleased to strengthen cooperation in the field of medicine and will be happy to exchange experience with our colleagues."

Russian specialists will work together with employees of the Research Center for Heart Surgery and Organ Transplantation, the Kyrgyz Scientific Center for Human Reproduction, the National Hospital, the Republican Center for Control and Prevention of Particularly Dangerous Diseases, the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I. Akhunbaev and other medical institutions.
During this time, the guests will conduct master classes and lectures for colleagues and students of medical universities, participate in round tables, and conduct examinations and consultations with patients. Each specialist is assigned to a clinical base, which will cover most of the capital's medical centers.

— We are opening a new stage of the "Mission Dobro" program in Kyrgyzstan, — noted the head of the Russian House in Bishkek, Albert Zulkharneev, especially emphasizing the effectiveness of the volunteer format of the Mission and the willingness of Russian doctors to share their experience for the sake of people's health. — This program is one of the examples of true public diplomacy, since it is aimed at providing assistance and support to specific people, interaction between specific doctors, organizations, and institutes. This is the sixth time that Russian volunteers have come to Kyrgyzstan under this program — experienced and qualified specialists. I hope the mission will be rich and fruitful.

Olga Enikeeva, Head of the Department of Medical Prevention and Healthy Lifestyle at RZhD-Medicine, also noted her professional interest in cooperation with Kyrgyz colleagues.

— We would like to share our accumulated experience, study how the healthcare system is structured here in Kyrgyzstan, and adopt useful practices for ourselves, — the delegation representative noted.

The international volunteer program "Mission Good" has been implemented by Rossotrudnichestvo and the Association of Volunteer Centers since 2021. In the format of volunteer missions, Russian specialists from the fields of healthcare, education, culture, and ecology help people and organizations around the world.

As a source in the organization explained to Delovaya Eurasia, the Mission Dobro program is being implemented within the framework of the Russia with You project, which is organized by Rossotrudnichestvo.

— Its goal is to exchange knowledge and experience with an international audience, support and development of humanitarian, educational and cultural initiatives of the Russian Federation abroad, — the organizers explained.
