The mayor of the Kyrgyz capital is ready to work with investors from the Far East

— Kyrgyzstan and Russia are the closest partners in the economic sphere today, — the mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Dzhunushaliev, told journalists during the opening of the Eurasia Park.

For the first time in Central Asia, Russian investors and partners, represented by the ANO Eurasia, have implemented such a large-scale project. The area of the entire cultural complex is ten hectares. On its territory, 30 new-generation attractions have been built, including the largest roller coaster in Central Asia. All the attractions in the park have Kyrgyz and Russian names. The volume of investment in their construction is estimated at $35 million.

The park is one of the facilities built within the framework of the bilateral partnership between Russia and Kyrgyzstan. The opening of the complex took place with the assistance of the Bishkek City Hall, the participation of the President of Kyrgyzstan, and a large delegation from the Russian Federation represented by the Head of the ANO "Eurasia" Alena Arshinova, State Duma Deputy Boris Chernyshov, and a number of officials.

According to the mayor, Bishkek is focused on cooperating as intensively and widely as possible, as there are many connections with the capital of Russia, the city of Moscow.

"There are many companies that are implementing their projects in the city of Bishkek. And today the most active projects are those implemented by the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization "Eurasia"," emphasizes Aibek Dzhunushaliev. "We recently jointly opened a social store. This is a very successful symbiosis, one might say. This is a partnership to solve social problems in the city. Moreover, I think the results of this project can be further projected throughout the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The mayor sees opportunities for Kyrgyz business and the economy, which can be accessed on Russian international platforms, in the form of investments in the capital's infrastructure. The upcoming Eastern Economic Forum - 2025 may be interesting if funds are attracted to Bishkek on this platform. At the same time, investments of Kyrgyz capital in foreign projects seem problematic to the official.

- We are more focused on attracting investments to our country, and we always invite foreign investors, partners, so that they implement their projects in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, and in the city of Bishkek. That is, for the most part, our policy is focused on such areas, and we are doing this work. Therefore, we can offer investors from Russia projects in the field of construction - construction of residential buildings, road construction, road repair, construction of bridges, interchanges. There is a large list of areas in which Russian business could find implementation of their investments, - concluded Aibek Dzhunushaliev.
